With the constant stream of newer/better/smarter information coming at me every day, I sometimes like to take a break and peruse my Delicious account for some “oldies” but goodies.

Today’s choice was Dave Armano’s post from Feb 2009- “Thoughts on Paid + Earned ‘Media’”

Cake may be a new agency in the US, but we’ve already had the opportunity to work with amazing teams dedicated to paid media and leverage their expertise to make our earned media programs even stronger.

Dave Armano’s chart is a great way to start for teams that may have been playing in traditional online buying spaces and are searching for ways to integrate with earned media teams. I like it anyway and wanted to share:

What do you think about how well earned and paid currently play together?
